Refund policy
Official version 1, not reviewed by a lawyer. Rejects Esports LLC wrote this page in plain words from how Round One really works. It is in effect as written, but a lawyer has not reviewed it yet, and we may update it after that review. It is not legal advice.
Round One does not take entry fees. Entry fees are set, collected and refunded by each event's organizer. TradeBack subscriptions have their own refund rules.
Playing on Round One
Scrims, Match Rooms, rankings and free events on Round One cost nothing. Round One does not collect entry fees or prize money from teams; organizers do. The price of a paid event created in November 2026, or of one that ends on or after 1 December 2026, includes a 2.5% Round One fee for the team (for example $10.25 on a $10 entry fee), which the organizer collects with the entry fee.
Entry fees
- An organizer who charges an entry fee sets the amount, collects it in their own way and marks your team as paid on Round One.
- The organizer's refund rules apply. Organizers must say them before they take any money, on the event page or when you pay.
- If an event is cancelled, we expect the organizer to refund entry fees in full, including the 2.5% Round One fee, and Round One charges no fee for a cancelled event.
- Ask the organizer first. The event page shows who runs it and how to reach them.
If an organizer doesn't help
Email rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com with the event, your team and what happened. We can't refund money we never received, but we can look into it, contact the organizer, and act on their organizer account under the terms of service and the organizer agreement.
Prizes
Prizes are paid by the organizer, as the event page says. Prize problems are not refunds; report them to the organizer and to rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com.
TradeBack subscriptions
TradeBack costs $16 a year ($15 plus a $1 processing fee), plus tax, is paid through Stripe (Link, a Stripe service, is the seller of record for the payment) and renews automatically. You get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of a purchase or a renewal charge, and no refund after that unless the law requires one or we charged you by mistake. Cancelling, failed payments and what happens to your data are covered by the TradeBack Subscription Terms.
If this changes
If Round One starts selling anything else (for example premium features or paid entries), its price and refund rules will be shown before you pay, and this page will be updated first.

About this page
- Rejects Esports LLC wrote this page itself, in plain language, from how Round One and TradeBack really work. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. We plan to have it reviewed, and we may update it after that review.
- It is still our official version and is in effect as written.
- Nothing on this page, or anything else we publish, is legal advice to you. If you need legal advice, ask your own lawyer.
- If a court finds that any part of this page cannot be enforced as written, that part is applied as far as the law allows, and the rest still applies.
- Nothing on this page takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be given up by agreement.
