TradeBack Subscription Terms
Official version 1, not reviewed by a lawyer. Rejects Esports LLC wrote this page in plain words from how Round One really works. It is in effect as written, but a lawyer has not reviewed it yet, and we may update it after that review. It is not legal advice.
These terms cover the paid TradeBack subscription sold by Rejects Esports LLC ("we", "us"). They sit beside the Round One Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Community and Safety Rules, which also apply to everyone who uses TradeBack. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree about the subscription, these terms win for the subscription. In these terms, "the buyer" is the adult who buys and pays for the subscription, and "the team" is the coach, players and staff who use it.
The short version
- $16 a year for one team ($15 plus a $1 processing fee), plus tax: 1 coach, 7 players and 2 staff. No trials, no discounts.
- It renews every year until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and you keep access until your paid year ends.
- Full refund if you ask within 7 days of a purchase or a renewal charge. No refunds after that, except where the law requires one or we made a mistake.
- Sold to buyers in the United States and Canada only (not Quebec). Payment goes through Stripe, and Link (a Stripe service) is the seller of record for the payment. Only an adult can buy.
- Deleting a Round One account does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling is its own step.
- Removing a player from the roster deletes all of that player's stats for good.
- When a subscription ends, the team gets 30 days of read-only access to export its data. Then the data is deleted for good.
- These terms were written by Rejects Esports LLC and have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. They are still our official terms.
About these terms
- Rejects Esports LLC wrote these terms itself, in plain language, from how Round One and TradeBack really work. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. We plan to have them reviewed, and we may update them after that review. Any change follows the rules for changes in these terms.
- These terms are still our official version and are in effect as written.
- Nothing in these terms, or anything else we publish, is legal advice to you. If you need legal advice, ask your own lawyer.
- If a court finds that any part of these terms cannot be enforced as written, that part is applied as far as the law allows, and the rest still applies.
- Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be given up by agreement.
- If something here is unclear, ask us at rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com before you rely on your own reading.
Checkout disclosure
This text is shown on the Stripe (Link) checkout page, next to the pay button, with a required tick box that starts empty and a required "I am an adult" answer. The purchase cannot go through without both:
TradeBack: $16 a year ($15 plus a $1 processing fee), plus any sales tax. Your subscription renews automatically every year on the date of this purchase, and the payment method you use today is charged $16 plus tax each year until you cancel. We tell you at least 30 days before any price change, and we email you a reminder 30 days before each renewal. Cancel any time from the link in TradeBack, in our emails or on round-one.net/tradeback-billing. You keep access until the end of the year you paid for. Full refund if you ask within 7 days of a purchase or a renewal charge; no refunds after that. You must be an adult to buy. Deleting a Round One account does not cancel this subscription. ☐ I am an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where I live, if higher). I agree to the TradeBack Subscription Terms, and I understand this subscription renews automatically every year at $16 plus tax until I cancel.
What the subscription buys
One subscription gives one team access to TradeBack at tradeback.round-one.net for each year paid. TradeBack is a team stats tracker for Rainbow Six Siege. It includes:
- Match tracking and live round entry.
- Replay reading in your browser: TradeBack reads a replay file on your device. The file is not uploaded to us.
- Stats built from the team's own entries and replay files.
- An optional shared stats setting (K/D, KOST, EPS and rounds). Otherwise the team's data is private to the team.
- An export of the team's data from the Data tab.
Features can change over time. We may add, change or remove features, as long as the core of TradeBack (match tracking, round entry and team stats) stays available for the year you paid for, except as section 11 says.
One team, ten logins
- One subscription covers one team: 1 coach, 7 players and 2 staff. That limit is the same for every team, with no exceptions, and extra logins are not sold.
- A team that needs more people, or a second team, buys another subscription through a different account.
- The coach makes the player and staff logins. Logins are for the people they were made for. Do not share a login with anyone outside the team, and do not sell, rent or give away a login or a setup code. Doing so is a breach of these terms (section 10).
- Ubisoft ID lock. Once a match replay confirms a player's Ubisoft account, that player's Ubisoft ID is locked and cannot be edited. Every later replay credits only that person. The player's display name can change, but the stats always stay with the locked Ubisoft ID, so a roster spot cannot be handed to a new person.
- Removing a player deletes their stats permanently. When the coach removes a player from the roster, all of that player's stats are deleted for good and cannot be brought back. TradeBack shows a warning and asks the coach to press and hold to confirm. Export the data first if you want to keep a copy.
- Players removed before this rule started, who were kept for 90 days under the old rule, are deleted the first time the team opens TradeBack after this rule starts. Removed players cannot be brought back.
Who can buy
- TradeBack is sold only to buyers in the United States and Canada, except Quebec, on round-one.net and in TradeBack, with payment handled by Stripe and Link (section 4).
- Only an adult can buy: 18 or older, or the age of majority where the buyer lives if that is higher (in some Canadian provinces it is 19). A person under that age must not buy, and must not use someone else's card.
- Buyers outside the United States and Canada, buyers in Quebec, or buyers who do not confirm they are an adult, get no setup code. We cancel the subscription at once and refund the payment in full.
- An adult can buy for a team that includes players under 18, and a player aged 13 to 17 can be the team's coach in TradeBack if an adult buys and pays. Every player aged 13 to 15 still needs a parent or guardian to approve their Round One account. Buying a subscription is not that approval (see the Guardian Permission Agreement).
- The buyer owns the subscription. It cannot be transferred to another person, team or account. If the coach changes, the buyer keeps the subscription and decides who uses it.
- The buyer promises they have the right to give the team members access, and that the details they give at checkout are true.
Payment, price and tax
- The price is $16 a year in US dollars: $15 for TradeBack plus a $1 processing fee that covers payment costs, plus any sales tax. The processing fee is the same for every payment method and is included in the price we show. There are no trials, intro prices or discount codes. Buyers in Canada also pay in US dollars; your card company may convert it and may charge its own fee.
- Who takes your payment. TradeBack is sold through Stripe's Managed Payments service. Link, a Stripe service, is the merchant of record for the payment: the checkout page says "Sold through Link", the payment is processed by Stripe Payments Company, and your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by our name. Link's own terms apply to the payment itself; these terms apply to TradeBack and the subscription.
- We never see or keep your card or bank details.
- Tax. Stripe works out, collects, files and pays the sales tax, GST, HST or PST that applies. It is added on top of the $16 price at checkout where the law requires it, and shown before you pay.
- Link sends its own receipts, invoices, refund notices and yearly renewal notices for the payment, as well as our emails.
- You pay the full year in advance. The first charge is on the day you buy. After that, the payment method is charged $16 plus tax on the same date every year until you cancel.
When your access year starts
- After you buy, we email the setup code to the billing email automatically.
- Your access year starts when the setup code is first used, not on the day you buy. Each paid year gives the team 365 days of access.
- The renewal charge follows the purchase date, not the activation date. If you wait before using the setup code, your next renewal charge can come before your first access year ends. The time is not lost: each renewal adds another 365 days on top of the access you already have.
- If you never use the setup code, the subscription still renews on the purchase date each year until you cancel. Cancel if you do not plan to use it.
- If the setup code does not arrive within 24 hours, check your spam folder and then email us.
Emails we send you
We send these to the billing email:
- A confirmation when you buy, with the price, the renewal date and how to cancel.
- The setup code.
- A reminder 30 days before each yearly renewal, with the price, the date of the charge and how to cancel.
- A notice at least 30 days before any price change.
- A confirmation when you cancel, with the date your access ends.
- A notice if a payment fails.
- A warning 24 hours before the team's data is deleted (section 9).
Link also sends its own receipts and notices about the payment.
Keep your billing email up to date. If the email bounces, we still treat it as sent.
Cancelling
- How. Cancel from the link inside TradeBack, the link in any of our emails, or the TradeBack billing page on round-one.net (round-one.net/tradeback-billing), which opens Stripe's secure billing page where you can cancel. You can also manage or cancel it in the Link app (app.link.com). You can also email rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com from the billing email.
- What it does. Cancelling stops all future renewals. It does not end access at once.
- Access. The team keeps full access until the end of the year it paid for.
- Confirmation. We email a confirmation with the date access ends.
- Deleting a Round One account does not cancel the subscription. TradeBack is billed through Stripe, separately from your Round One account. If the buyer, the coach or anyone else deletes their Round One account, the subscription keeps renewing until it is cancelled as described above.
Refunds
- 7 days. If you ask within 7 days of a purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal charge, we refund that charge in full and cancel the subscription.
- After 7 days, no refunds. That includes a year that is partly used, a year that has not started because the setup code was not used, features that change or stop working (section 11), and access ended for a breach (section 10).
- Purchases by a minor. If someone under the buying age used a card without the cardholder's permission, the cardholder can ask for a refund within 7 days of the charge. We refund it and cancel the subscription.
- Our mistakes. If we charge you by mistake, for example twice, we refund the extra charge whenever you tell us.
- The law. If a law that protects you gives you a refund these terms do not, you still get it.
- How. Email rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com from the billing email with your receipt, or ask Link support. Refund requests sent to Link come to us for approval under these terms. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, include any tax you paid, and can take several days to appear.
- Refunds by Stripe or Link. Stripe or Link may sometimes refund a payment themselves, for example under Link's own buyer protection within 60 days, or if a refund request sent to us is not answered within 48 hours. Any refund of a TradeBack payment, by us, Stripe or Link, has the effect described in "What a refund does".
- What a refund does. Refunding the first payment cancels the setup code and ends access; the team then has 30 days to export before its data is deleted (section 9). Refunding a renewal removes that year of access.
- Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Stripe handles disputes and chargebacks and may accept or contest them without asking us. While a chargeback is open, the team's access is paused. If the chargeback is decided in your favor, the subscription ends.
- Deleting your payment data. If you ask Link to delete your payment data, Stripe cancels the subscription. We treat that as a normal cancellation: the team keeps access until the end of the year already paid for.
When a payment fails or a subscription ends
- Failed renewal payment. Stripe tries the payment again and we email the billing address. The team keeps full access for a 7 day grace period. If the payment still fails after 7 days, the subscription ends.
- After a subscription ends (cancelled, not renewed or failed): the team has 30 days of read-only access. The team can view its data and export it from the Data tab, but cannot add matches, enter rounds or read new replays.
- Then the data is deleted for good. We email the billing address and the coach 24 hours before deleting. After the 30 days, all of the team's TradeBack data is permanently deleted and cannot be brought back: every match, round, stat, note, position map and callout, the team's player and staff logins, the team itself and the coach username and tag. Export it before then if you want to keep it.
- What we keep. The coach's own Round One account is not deleted. We keep the payment record and the setup code as records of the purchase.
- Refunds and bans. After a refund or a permanent ban, the team also gets the 30 days to export, then the data is deleted.
- Open chargebacks. While a chargeback is open, the team's data is not deleted.
- Teams from before launch. For teams whose access ended before 31 October 2026, the 30 days start on 31 October 2026, so their data is kept until 30 November 2026.
- If the team subscribes again before the deletion, the data is still there.
- The coach can ask us to delete the team's TradeBack data sooner. We do it within 30 days of the emailed request.
Breaking the rules
- The Round One Terms of Service and the Community and Safety Rules apply to TradeBack. A Round One account ban also bans that person from TradeBack, and a TradeBack ban also applies on Round One.
- For a breach, we can give a warning, suspend access for a time, or end access. We choose depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before. We reserve the right to ban immediately, without a warning first, for serious breaches.
- Cheating is a permanent ban from Round One and TradeBack. The Discord account and the Ubisoft account linked to it are banned too and cannot be used again.
- Sharing or selling logins or setup codes outside the team, using TradeBack to break the law, or trying to break, copy or overload the service is also a breach.
- When access ends because of a breach, there is no refund.
- We tell the account why it was suspended or banned, unless the law or someone's safety stops us, and it can appeal as the Community and Safety Rules explain. If we suspend or end access by mistake, we restore access or refund the unused time.
When features change or break
- TradeBack depends on Rainbow Six Siege and its replay files, which Ubisoft controls and can change at any time. If a game update changes how replays work, some features may stop working until we update TradeBack, and some may not come back.
- We work to fix problems, but we do not promise that TradeBack will always be available, error-free or working with every game update.
- There are no refunds for features that stop working or change after the 7-day refund window. That includes outages, game updates and replay format changes.
Limits on the statistics
- TradeBack stats come from what the team enters and the replay files the team opens. If those are wrong or missing, the stats will be wrong or missing. Replay reading can make mistakes.
- We do not promise that any stat is correct, complete or up to date, and we do not promise any result, rank, win or improvement.
- Do not rely on TradeBack stats for contracts, salaries, recruiting promises, prize decisions, betting or anything else with serious consequences.
- TradeBack is not official Ubisoft data and is not made, approved or backed by Ubisoft. Rainbow Six Siege is a Ubisoft trademark.
- Shared stats are optional. If the team turns them on, K/D, KOST, EPS and rounds can be seen on Round One. Ask your players before turning it on.
Price changes
- We can change the price. We email the billing address at least 30 days before the renewal at which the new price starts.
- The new price applies from that renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal date and you will not be charged the new price.
- A price change never applies to a year you already paid for.
If we stop offering TradeBack
- We will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the billing address and on the site.
- From the notice, no more renewals are charged.
- Every team keeps access until the end of the year it already paid for. There is no refund of that year, because the team keeps the access it paid for.
- Export your data before access ends.
Free access we give
Sometimes we give a team free access, for example a trial we run by hand or our own team. These terms apply to free access too, apart from the parts about payment, renewal and refunds. We can end free access at any time. Accounts our own staff use to run and test TradeBack are not bound by the login limit in section 2.
Your data
TradeBack data belongs to the team, and we use it only to run TradeBack. It is private to the team unless shared stats are on. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a change that matters, we tell the billing email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before that renewal. The version and date of these terms are shown at the top of the page, and we keep a record of the version each buyer agreed to.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by Ohio law, but that does not take away any protection the consumer laws of your state or province give you that cannot be waived. Questions, cancellations and refund requests: rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com.
Email rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com. Any problem gets 30 days to sort out.
