Terms of Service
Official version 1, not reviewed by a lawyer. Rejects Esports LLC wrote this page in plain words from how Round One really works. It is in effect as written, but a lawyer has not reviewed it yet, and we may update it after that review. It is not legal advice.
These are the rules for using Round One Network (round-one.net) and TradeBack (tradeback.round-one.net). Please read them. By ticking the agreement box when you sign up, or by using the sites, you agree to them.
The short version
- Round One is for players 13 and older in the United States and Canada, except Quebec. Players aged 13 to 15 need a parent or legal guardian to approve their account. Everyone under 18 gets extra protections.
- One person, one account. A linked Ubisoft account can never be unlinked or moved.
- Play fair. Cheating is a permanent ban, including the Discord and Ubisoft accounts linked to it.
- Organizers run their own events, collect their own entry fees and pay their own prizes. Paid events carry a Round One fee, billed to the organizer after the event: 2.5% added to the team's entry fee, plus 2.5% paid by the organizer on events that end on or after 1 December 2026. Events created in November 2026 that open sign-ups by 30 November 2026 carry only the team's 2.5%, however long they run.
- We can show anything on the sites and use match material, logos and names in our promotion, but never anyone under 18 and never anyone on the No-stream list.
- If something goes wrong, talk to us first. After that, small claims court or the courts of Clermont County, Ohio.
- These terms were written by Rejects Esports LLC and have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. They are still our official terms and apply as written.
About these terms
- Rejects Esports LLC wrote these terms itself, in plain language, from how Round One and TradeBack really work. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. We plan to have them reviewed, and we may update them after that review. Any change follows the rules for changes in these terms.
- These terms are still our official version and are in effect as written.
- Nothing in these terms, or anything else we publish, is legal advice to you. If you need legal advice, ask your own lawyer.
- If a court finds that any part of these terms cannot be enforced as written, that part is applied as far as the law allows, and the rest still applies.
- Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be given up by agreement.
- If something here is unclear, ask us at rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com before you rely on your own reading.
Who we are and what these terms include
Round One Network and TradeBack are run by Rejects Esports LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. In these terms "Round One", "we", "us" and "our" mean Rejects Esports LLC. "You" means anyone who visits or uses the sites. "The sites" means round-one.net, tradeback.round-one.net and anything else we run under the Round One or TradeBack name.
These documents are part of these terms, and you agree to them too:
- The Privacy Policy, which says what we collect and why.
- The Community and Safety Rules, which say how everyone must behave and how reports work.
- The Guardian Permission Agreement, for players aged 13 to 15 and their parents or guardians.
- The TradeBack Subscription Terms, if you buy or use TradeBack.
- The Round One Supplement to the BLAST rules, if you play in an event.
- The Organizer Agreement, if you run events.
- The Copyright and Content Removal page.
If one of those documents disagrees with these terms about its own subject (for example the TradeBack Subscription Terms about billing), that document wins for that subject.
Agreeing to these terms
- You agree to these terms by ticking the agreement box at sign-up (the box is never ticked for you) or by using the sites. If you do not agree, do not use the sites.
- We record which version of these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community and Safety Rules you accepted, and when.
- If you are 13 to 15, your parent or legal guardian also agrees to these terms for you when they approve your account. If you are 16 or 17, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the sites.
- If you use the sites for a team, org or league, you promise you are allowed to act for it, and these terms bind you and it.
Where the sites are offered
- Round One and TradeBack are offered to people in the United States and Canada, except Quebec.
- We do not offer the sites in Quebec, the European Union, the United Kingdom or anywhere else yet, and we do not promise to follow those places' laws. If you use the sites from somewhere else, you do so on your own and at your own risk, and we may block access from any place.
- You may not use the sites if you are on a United States sanctions list or in a place under a United States trade embargo.
Who can use the sites
- 13 or older. You must be at least 13. Sign-up asks for your birth month and year first, and the Round One server checks it. A birthday counts only once the whole birth month is over.
- Under 13. We do not allow accounts for anyone under 13. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we lock it at once and delete it.
- 13 to 15. Your account stays locked until a parent or legal guardian approves it from their own email. They can withdraw approval at any time, which locks the account again. Approval ends when you turn 16. See the Guardian Permission Agreement.
- 16 and 17. You can use the sites without a parent's approval, but you must have your parent or guardian's permission. Every player under 18 keeps the extra protections in the Community and Safety Rules: a limited public profile, no use in our promotion, and the safety steps for PC checks.
- Tell the truth about your age. Giving a false age is a breach of these terms, and we may lock or delete the account.
- 18+ events. An organizer may limit an event to players 18 or older, or to an older minimum age.
- Banned people. If we banned you, you may not use the sites or make another account.
Your account
- One person, one account. Do not share your account, use someone else's, or let anyone play on yours. Do not buy, sell, trade, rent or give away accounts, ranks, Class, ratings or roster spots.
- Linked accounts. Link only your own Discord and Ubisoft accounts. Linking Discord also adds you to the Round One Discord server, where our bot shows your Class, tier, Player Rating band and team tag as roles and in your nickname, and these terms and the Community and Safety Rules apply too. When your team plays in an event whose organizer connected a league Discord server, the bot also adds you to that server for the match chat and team voice. Those league servers are run by their organizers under Discord's rules. You can leave any Discord server at any time, and you can turn Discord notifications on or off in Settings. Once a Ubisoft account is linked to a Round One account, it can never be unlinked or moved to another account. One Ubisoft account belongs to one Round One account.
- Keep it safe. Use a real email address you control. Keep your password and any authenticator code private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once at rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.
- Staff accounts must use an authenticator app.
Volunteer staff, admins and moderators
- Round One staff, admins, moderators and event mods help run the sites. Round One staff are 16 or older, and some event mods are younger. Every Round One staff member accepts the Round One Staff Agreement. We give them our trust to be fair, to keep private information private and to follow these terms more strictly than anyone.
- A staff member who breaks the rules gets a warning, which is shown on their account. After two warnings, the next breach removes their staff role. We may remove a staff role at once for a serious breach, or for any reason.
- Only adult staff can open safety reports, reported content, dispute evidence and parent or guardian records.
- Staff decisions can be appealed (section 17). An owner of Rejects Esports LLC makes the final decision.
- Staff are not our employees or agents unless we say so in writing, and they cannot make promises for us.
Playing fair and behaving well
Follow the Community and Safety Rules. In short, do not:
- Cheat, use hacks, macros or banned third-party tools, or use bugs and exploits the match rules ban.
- Play on someone else's account, let someone play on yours, or use a second account (a smurf) to dodge Class, a ban or a penalty.
- Upload a replay, screenshot or score that you changed, or one from a different match.
- Harass, threaten, dox, stalk, groom or abuse anyone, share sexual content, or post hate speech, spam or scams.
- Fix or throw a match, or bet on a match or event that you play in, coach, run, moderate or cast.
- Try to break, overload, probe or get around the sites' security, or scrape the sites.
Outside the sites. We may act on what you do elsewhere, such as on Discord, in game or in person, when it puts someone on Round One at risk or harms the fairness of Round One competition.
Betting. Round One does not run, support or approve betting on matches. What other people do outside Round One is up to them and not something we police, but betting on your own matches, or fixing a match for betting, is a breach. Events on Round One may not be sponsored by gambling or betting companies.
Match rules
- Event matches follow the BLAST R6 rulebooks, as explained in the Round One Supplement to the BLAST rules. BLAST does not run or back Round One.
- Round One adds its own rules for check-in, replay verification, disputes and appeals, Class, Player Rating and conduct.
- Organizers can change some values for their event, such as lateness penalties and roster size. Those show on the event's Rules tab as "Set by the organizer".
- Forfeits and bans need a Round One moderator. Disputes are decided from the replay files and the Match Room records.
- Scrims are not events. Scrims never ban maps, and the two teams agree the maps.
Organizers, entry fees and prizes
- Organizers are independent. Each event page shows who runs it. Organizers are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not check or guarantee what they promise.
- Organizers handle the money. Organizers set, collect and refund their own entry fees and pay their own prizes. Teams pay the organizer, the way the organizer says, not Round One. We do not hold entry fees or prize money, and we are not a party to payments between teams and organizers. Rejects Esports LLC does not pay prizes for events at this time.
- The Round One fee. Events with an entry fee carry a Round One fee in up to two parts:
- Teams pay 2.5%, added on top of the entry fee. The price on the event page includes it.
- Organizers pay 2.5%, out of the entry fees they collect.
- Events created in November 2026 (Eastern time) that open sign-ups by 30 November 2026 carry only the teams' 2.5%, however long they run. A November event that opens sign-ups later is treated like any other event. For example, on a $10 entry fee the team pays $10.25, the organizer keeps $10.00, and Round One's fee is $0.25.
- Other events carry both parts (5% in total) when they end on or after 1 December 2026. For example, on a $10 entry fee the team pays $10.25, the organizer keeps $9.75, and Round One's fee is $0.50.
- There is no fee on free events, or on events created before November 2026 that end before 1 December 2026.
- How the fee is collected. At the end of each event, Round One bills the organizer for the whole Round One fee (the parts that apply). We work it out from the entry fee posted on the event page and the number of teams registered when the event ends. A team the organizer refunded in full is left out, if the organizer tells us. An event cancelled before it ends has no fee. The Organizer Agreement covers billing and payment.
- Organizers are solely responsible for the law. Anyone who runs an event on Round One is responsible for knowing and following every law that applies to it, including laws on entry fees, prizes, contests, sweepstakes, taxes, and letting players under 18 take part. That includes getting a parent or guardian's permission before a player under 18 pays an entry fee or wins a prize. Round One does not take responsibility for an organizer's failure to do so, and the organizer is solely responsible for its event.
- Players: check your local laws. Some states and provinces limit contests with an entry fee and a prize. You are responsible for checking whether you may enter.
- Prize information. A prize winner may need to give the organizer details for payment or tax. Round One does not collect or keep that information.
- See the Refund policy for entry fee refunds.
Player Rating, Class, EPS and rankings
- Player Rating, Class, EPS, reliability and rankings are our own measures, worked out from verified results and Match Room records. They are not official Ubisoft or BLAST ratings.
- They can change when results are verified, corrected or overturned, and staff can fix mistakes. We do not promise any number, Class or place.
- You may not scrape, copy in bulk, sell or republish our rankings, ratings or stats for any commercial use without our written permission.
What you post, and what we can do with it
You keep ownership of what you post or upload: names, logos, pictures, banners, bios, messages, replays and other files ("your content").
You give us permission to use it. You give Round One a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, permanent permission, which we can pass on to the casters, organizers and service providers who work with us, to store, copy, edit, crop, translate, show, stream, share and make new works from your content and from the match material on the sites, in any media, for running and improving the sites and for promoting Round One and TradeBack. Match material means gameplay from caster streams, brackets, scores, results, stats, team and org names and logos, and player names. For example, we may use them in promotional videos, posts and posters. This permission continues after you delete your content or account, for material we already used and for match records.
Two limits we always keep:
- No one under 18 in our promotion. We never use a player under 18 in promotional material: no name, face, voice, clip or picture that identifies them.
- The No-stream list. Anyone on the No-stream list (section 12) is also left out of our promotion.
Your promises. You promise you own your content or have the right to post it, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity rights. Team and org names and logos must not copy another team, brand or person. As far as the law allows, you give up any moral rights in your content that would stop the uses above.
Interviews and testimonials. For anything beyond match material, such as an interview, a quote, a testimonial, a photo or a voice clip of you for our promotion, we ask your permission first, and you can say no. You can withdraw that permission at any time: we stop making anything new with it, and we take down existing posts within 30 days if you ask. We do not pay for promotional use unless we agree in writing. We never ask anyone under 18.
Removal. We can remove any content that breaks these terms, or for any other reason. To ask us to remove something, see Copyright and Content Removal.
Streams, casters and the No-stream list
- Casting. Casters can be assigned to event matches and stream them on their own channels, using the Round One caster tools. Every caster accepts the Round One Caster Agreement. Casters follow these terms, the event's rules, the streaming platform's rules and Ubisoft's rules for Rainbow Six Siege content.
- Who owns a stream. The caster owns their own stream and recordings. By casting a Round One match, the caster gives Round One a permanent, free permission to use clips and recordings of that match on the sites and in our promotion, within the limits in section 11.
- Playing on stream. By playing in an event match, you agree that the match may be streamed and recorded, and that your in-game name, gameplay, team and results may appear. Team voice chat is never broadcast without the team's agreement.
- The No-stream list. Any player can ask to be put on the No-stream list from Settings or by email. A match with a player on the list is not streamed, unless that player agrees for that match.
- Players under 18. A parent or guardian's approval covers a player aged 13 to 15 appearing in match streams, and players aged 16 and 17 agree to it themselves. When a player under 18 asks for a caster for their match, that is their agreement for that match. A parent or guardian who does not want the player on streams can withdraw their approval, or the player can join the No-stream list.
- Stream pages on Round One show the streaming platform's own player (for example Twitch), which is covered by that platform's terms and privacy policy.
Recording and future features
Round One does not record voice or team comms today. If we add a feature that records or analyses voice, such as a future TradeBack plan with automatic feedback through a Discord bot or a Round One app, it will come with its own terms, and it will ask everyone who is recorded to agree first, and a parent or guardian for players under 18.
TradeBack
- TradeBack is a paid team stats tool. One subscription covers one team: 1 coach, 7 players and 2 staff. It costs $16 a year ($15 plus a $1 processing fee), plus tax, is sold to adults in the United States and Canada (not Quebec) and renews every year until cancelled.
- The TradeBack Subscription Terms cover price, renewal, cancelling, refunds (only within 7 days of a purchase or renewal) and what happens to the team's data. They win over these terms for the subscription.
- Deleting your Round One account does not cancel a TradeBack subscription. Cancel it separately.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we can use them for any purpose without paying you or giving you credit.
Our content and other people's trademarks
- The sites' code, design, text, graphics, and the Round One, TradeBack and Rejects names and logos belong to Rejects Esports LLC. You may not copy them, or use them in a way that suggests we back you, without our written permission.
- Rainbow Six Siege, its maps, operators and images are trademarks and content of Ubisoft. Map images are Ubisoft's and are credited to Ubisoft. Round One is not made, approved or backed by Ubisoft.
- BLAST is a trademark of its owner. Other names, such as Discord, Twitch, Google, Stripe and Microsoft, belong to their owners and are named only to say what works with the sites.
- Open-source software and fonts used on the sites are listed on the Licenses page.
Warnings, suspensions, bans and closing accounts
- What we can do. If these terms are broken, we can remove content, take teams out of events, change or void results, give warnings, suspend accounts for a time, or ban them. We choose depending on how serious it is and whether it happened before. We may ban immediately, without a warning first, for serious breaches.
- Cheating is a permanent ban from Round One and TradeBack. The Discord account and Ubisoft account linked to the banned account are banned too and cannot be linked again.
- Bans carry over. A ban on Round One applies on TradeBack, and a ban on TradeBack applies on Round One. Making a new account to get around a ban is a breach, and that account is banned too.
- Closing any account. We may suspend or close any account, or end anyone's access, for any reason, including reasons that are not a breach. When we do, we tell the account the reason, unless the law or someone's safety stops us. If we close an account for a reason that is not a breach, and it holds a paid TradeBack subscription, we refund the unused time.
- Bans are public. The Community and Safety Rules explain the public ban list.
- Serious cases can be passed to Ubisoft, an organizer, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or the police.
- Appeals. You can appeal a decision once: within 48 hours for a ban, and within 14 days for any other decision, at round-one.net/appeal. Where we can, a different moderator reviews it. An owner of Rejects Esports LLC makes the final decision.
Deleting your account, and inactive accounts
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Some things stay after you delete it, as the Privacy Policy explains: verified match results and roster history (shown as "Former player"), the record that your Discord and Ubisoft accounts were used (to stop ban evasion), and the record of which terms you accepted. Our bot removes your Round One nickname and roles on the Round One Discord server; you stay a member of that server until you leave it.
- Inactive accounts. If you do not sign in for 12 months, we may delete your account. We email you 30 days and 7 days before. We do not delete an account while it is part of an active TradeBack subscription. For accounts made before 31 October 2026, the 12 months start on 31 October 2026.
- Sections 9 to 11, 15, 16 and 19 to 25 still apply after an account ends.
The sites can change
- The sites are new and still changing. We may add, change, pause or remove any feature at any time.
- If we stop running Round One, or sell it, we will give at least 30 days' notice on the sites, and you can download a copy of your data in that time. If the business or the sites are sold or transferred, these terms and your data can move to the new owner, who must keep to the Privacy Policy for data collected before the transfer.
The sites as they are
As far as the law allows, we provide the sites "as is" and "as available", without any promise that they will always be up, safe, free of errors or bugs, or suited to any purpose, and without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Keep your own copies of anything important. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Limits on our responsibility
- As far as the law allows, Round One is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost prizes, lost data or lost opportunities, even if we were told they could happen.
- We are not responsible for what organizers, teams, players, casters, staff volunteers or other users do or fail to do, including prizes or entry fees an organizer does not pay or refund.
- Our total responsibility for all claims is limited to the greater of 100 US dollars or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not let us limit.
If your actions get us sued
If you are 18 or older, you agree to defend us and to pay our losses and reasonable legal costs if a claim is made against us because of your content, your conduct, an event you run, or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you about the claim and can choose to run our own defense.
Disputes
- Talk to us first. If you have a problem with us, email rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com (or write to the address above) with your name, your account email, what happened and what you want. We will try to settle it with you. Neither of us may start a court case until 30 days after that notice.
- Then small claims. After that, either of us may bring the claim in a small claims court that has authority over it.
- Bigger claims. A claim too big for small claims court goes to the state or federal courts that serve Clermont County, Ohio, and you and we agree to those courts.
- Law. Ohio law and United States federal law govern these terms, without regard to rules that would apply another place's law. If you live in Canada or a US state whose consumer laws give you rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply.
- Time limit. As far as the law allows, a claim must be brought within one year after it arose.
Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms. For a change that matters, we tell you at least 14 days before it takes effect, with a notice on the sites, and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. We record which version you accepted.
- The date and version of these terms are shown at the top of the page.
- If you do not agree to a change, stop using the sites and delete your account. For a small change, such as a typo fix, using the sites after the change means you accept it.
General terms
- Whole agreement. These terms and the documents in section 1 are the whole agreement between you and us about the sites.
- If part fails. If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable, and the rest still applies.
- Agreeing electronically. You agree to these terms, and to receive our notices and records, electronically. That has the same effect as signing on paper. Keep a copy of these terms if you want one; the version and date are always at the top of this page.
- Only this page counts. No one, including Round One staff, can change these terms in a chat, an email, a Discord message or a stream. Changes happen only by updating this page under section 24. Do not rely on anything anyone tells you that is not in these terms.
- How to read these terms. The short version and the examples are there to help; the full text is what applies. Headings are only for finding things, and "including" means "including but not limited to".
- What keeps applying. Anything in these terms that by its nature should last after your account ends, such as content permissions, limits on our responsibility, disputes and what you owe us, keeps applying.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example if the business is sold.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, attacks, game updates, natural disasters or changes in law.
- Notices. We send notices to the email on your account or show them on the sites. Send notices to us at rejectsesportsbusiness@gmail.com and the address above.
- Language. These terms are written in English, and the English version controls. The sites are not offered in Quebec.
- No lawyer review yet. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. That does not change that they apply to you; see "About these terms".
